A vote of the Board of the Key West Community Sailing Center established wind requirements/restrictions for the boats in our fleet. If the wind measures 14 knots or less, the Mariners may be signed out. If the wind measures 15 knots or higher, the Mariners must remain docked at the Center. If the wind measures 19 knots or less, any boats in the fleet, except for the Mariners, may be signed out. If the wind measures 20 knots or higher, no boats may be signed out and must remain docked. To determine wind speed, go to WindFinder.com and check wind at Smathers Beach. That is the reading we will be using as our decision point.
